Mood: Melancholy

I haven't been posting regularly. I'm actually wondering if I want to continue having a blog at all. I have a hand written journal I've been writing in lately as what I have been putting on paper is not something I would want others to see. I sort of feel since this can be read by others that certain things need to be kept off. The past several months I have been going through a kind of depression and can't quite shake it. I decided this weekend I need to go back to the doctor for meds again. I really do not want to do that but it's not going away this time and it's not fair to me or my family to go on this way. It's been over four years since I've taken meds. I feel defeated almost that I'm going back on them.

Mood: Chipper

We went out the other day to notice a bird had made her nest on top of the electrical box on the side of our house! Cory has been being careful not to disturb them when doing yard work. I wish I had known they were there sooner. I would have loved to take pictures of them when they were smaller.

I saw this little guy the other day. I have convinced myself he is from the next on the side of the house. Isn't he too cute?!?!

Mood: Fine

It's almost done but not quite. I still need to decorate! This is what it looks like now after the remodel. My husband and I did it all ourselves with the exception of the wall texture.

We removed the big mirror, stripped THREE layers of wallpaper, replaced the countertop, fixtures and sinks. Some texturing and a few coats of paint and voila! The cabinet had to be painted twice as I didn't think about color cast the first go-round. It turned a lovely greenish brown. I fell in love with the green wall color at first site.

I have a picture I plan to hand on the other wall (the one shown in the before mirror) and I'm not quite sure what I'm doing to the area above the toilet. I did shower curtain, towels and rugs in white to help make the green pop. I think my favorite part of the remodel (and yes it's silly) is that we changed the light switch to the kind that lights up when the light are off. I have always wanted those in the hope it will help keep the wall next to the light switch clean.

Happy 3rd Anniversary!

These are the flowers I received from my husband for our anniversary today. We celebrated by going out to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. We heard it adds up there so we waited until we had something special.

It's so good! If you haven't gone there you should!

Afterwards we went to Barnes and Noble and looked around for a bit before we had to go home. We both had work in the morning.
